Sahara established Renewal, our Business Enterprise, in the mid 1990's to give opportunity to clients- mostly former substance users and persons living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.

RENEWAL brings peoples dreams and aspirations together in a business enterprise that provides space, flexitime, and a pleasant and aesthetic work environment.

RENEWAL keeps traditional arts alive, protects artisans rights to a fair wage while maintaining competitive prices.

We produce the following products :

• Embroidery and Bead work on Clothes, Cushions, and other goods
• Carpentry & wood carving
• Recycled paper and paper products (bags, photoalbums, notebooks…)
• Leather products (bags)
• Disinfectants and detergents
• We also have a printing unit
